Please join POAC-NoVA & ASNV in December for our Annual Holiday Party. When: December 19th, 2009, 1PM to 4PM Where: The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia, 8900 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax, VA 22031. Phone number is (703) 323-0880. From the Capital Beltway (495), take exit 52A, Route 236 heading West (Little River Turnpike). The JCCNV is located on the right-hand side, 1.5 miles west on Little River Turnpike, at the intersection of Guinea Road. More info on the JCCNV is available at http://www.jccnv.org/. More Details: The Parents Of Autistic Children of Northern Virginia (POAC-NoVA) and the Autism Society of Northern Virginia's (ASNV) Holiday Party will be held in the auditorium of the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia. The party is for all of our friends in the disability community. In order to avoid long lines at the mall, join us for photo opportunities with Santa. We will have a camera for these photos with a website to download the digital photo at no cost, but please bring your own camera if you want. We will also have a giant inflatable Menorah. There will be children's activities and games, food, music, DVDs and fun! There will gifts for all the kids and hundreds of stuffed animals for you to pick a dozen to take home, so bring a big bag for all the gifts. If you feel obligated to show up with something, please bring a dessert or snack. This is not required and the Master of Ceremonies will likely berate anyone who brings low-fat brownies or a similar affront to mankind ;-). We will have a table set aside for gluten-free food, and we will be receiving a donation of gluten-free food for this event. IMPORTANT: Childcare is NOT available for this meeting but we will have volunteers working with the kids doing crafts and lots of craziness!
