Next POAC-NoVA Meeting...

Please join us at our next Monthly Member Support Meeting in August for our annual Back to School presentation on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 1PM.

At this meeting, Flo Bosch, FCPS Coordinator - PreK-12 Adapted Curriculum and Denise Belmont, Program Manager - Early Childhood Identification and Services/Child Find, will present on the current status of FCPS programs for our kids in the self-contained, non-categorical and mainstreamed classrooms for preschool through secondary grades.

Where: The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia, 8900 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax, VA 22031. Phone number is (703) 323-0880.

From the Capital Beltway (495), take exit 52A, Route 236 heading West (Little River Turnpike). The JCCNV is located on the right-hand side, 1.5 miles west on Little River Turnpike, at the intersection of Guinea Road.

IMPORTANT: Free Childcare is Available at this Meeting!

POAC-NoVA is offering free childcare at this meeting but have only 8 slots available. All slots are first-come, first-serve and by Reservation only. Please email rsvp@poac-nova.org to reserve your spot. This MUST be done for EVERY single child whether disabled or not! You will also need to fill out a waiver available by clicking here.

NOTE: Our monthly support meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month with a few exceptions. For 2010, the exceptions are: June (moved to the 12th) and September (moved to the 25th).
