Parents Of Autistic Children of Northern Virginia (POAC-NoVA), the Autism Society of America, Northern Virginia Chapter (ASA-NV), the Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia (DSANV), and the Arc of Northern Virginia invite you to attend our Medicaid Waivers and Social Security Workshop.

When: Saturday, September 20, 2008. Registration begins at 1pm. Workshops starts at 1:30PM until 4:30PM.

Where: Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library, 7584 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22043. More info on the library is at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library/branches/ty.

What: Learn the basics of Social Security and SSI, gain knowledge of the Medicaid Waiver system, in particular those that affect your child and his or her future: MR, DD and EDCD waivers.

Cost: This program is FREE, and open to the public.
